Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her career as an actress when she was a young girl, soon after her move to the United States. She came to prominence for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and since in 2020. She also was a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl in Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the unaired television pilot New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. When she was five she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she quit and obtained a GED. She continued, however, to obtain the Bachelor of Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
